It feels like forever since there has been any kind of progress on the house. We had been at a stand still waiting for inspections on the plumbing and electrical for a couple weeks now. Then our builder got fired and we had to go over all the things that he never got done for us with our new builder. She seems to be really good and much more organized than he was. They started bricking and stoning last week. Luckily my good friend Krista lives nearby and I asked her to see what was going on with the house. We drove up later that afternoon to see the wrong stone being put on the house. That has been resolved and should start again soon. The entire house is bricked now and today they started sheet rocking, YAHOO!!!
Next week after they texture the walls we will get a solid closing date. The builder today told us he still thought it would be end of Sept, YEAH!!!
We really want to be moved out of here before Camden arrives. I am sure it will be awhile before we have curtains or pictures hung on the wall, or even her room painted. But to have all our belongings under that roof and have our blinds installed will make me feel so much more relieved.
