28 Weeks

We had our 28 week OB appt on Thursday and everything is going well. Camden's heartbeat was nice and strong. Will actually got to stay and listen this time, thanks to M&M's and a lolipop for Drew! My belly measured 30cm. At 28 weeks with Drew, it was 28cm, so I am a little bigger this time. I am also only 5 lbs. away from the total that I gained with Drew, which is still 9 1/2 weeks from now! So yes, to all my friends who keep telling me how big I look (mostly Rachael!) it is true, I am bigger and fatter this time!

Tile and Countertops

We went to the house again today to see the tile almost completed and most all countertops installed. We will go up again later this weekend when all tile will be done so they can start painting on Monday. All the prep work has begun for painting, all wood has been caulked and they were covering the wood floors today.

6 Weeks & Counting

Here are some updated pictures of the house: they put in the balusters on the stairs and that is about all that has happened since Friday. We got our weekly call from our builder this morning and she said that they are starting to tile today and that will take about 3 days. All bathroom showers and floors are tiled as well as the mud room and laundry room and the kitchen back splash is tumbled stone. After that they start painting and will be painting for about a week.

Building A House...

Really is a full time job!
It has been nice to see some steady progress at the house lately but we just wish we could go a couple weeks without there being problems! We went up to the house today to see all of our cabinetry in. Albeit not all correctly, but mostly they looked good. Our garage doors were supposed to get installed today but instead were installed on the house across the street, oh well, we will get ours tomorrow. We also found out yesterday while Will was getting his teeth cleaned that our dentist lives in our neighborhood! Too funny, especially since there are only 3 streets in our neighborhood, we will be very close!

the study built-in, love it!

Thursday update- the garage doors have been installed as well as the radiant barrier in the attic. Most all of the crown molding and door trim is done downstairs, as well as some of the doors are on. Upstairs they have started on the door frames and doors. The fireplace was installed and the french doors for the study were delivered. There was a guy asleep on the garage floor and a skid steer outside and it looked like they were clearing away the rest of the unused stone and brick.

A B C Drew

Poor Drew has been neglected lately, or so I have felt. No, not from love or attention but those good ole' material things. We have been buying so much for Camden lately that I don't think I have bought him a toy or piece of clothing in months! I was having some mommy guilt, so we all went to the toy store and got some toy planes, helicopters, trucks and books. Recently we got these tub letters since we are now working on learning our colors, shapes and letters. He knows the color blue, so well in fact that EVERYTHING is blue! He knows 3 shapes- triangle, heart, and star. He thinks EVERY letter is the letter "D"-he's so vain!
