Day at the Aquarium

Saturday we took Drew for his first trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. For $16.95/adult and $5 parking, we were a little underwhelmed, but Drew seemed to have a good time. We started off in the Rainforest where we saw monkeys and birds, and saw the cutest baby seal snuggled up sleeping. While walking through, we could see below to the river where a large fish was being taken out of the water and placed into a cooler, hmmm. Then we went to the Understory and to the tunnel where we could see lots of hammerhead sharks swimming overhead. They also had an outdoor penguin exhibit. After the penguins, we finished up seeing a black panther, some carribean flamingos and ended in the gift shop where Drew got a sea creatures puzzle. We had a nice family day out together and it was a nice break from dragging Drew to model homes all weekend!
