Winter Wonderland!

We got over 12 inches of snow here this past week! We have lived here for almost 12 years and have never even comes close to seeing this much snow here! The kids had fun playing in it, eating it, and building a snowman with our neighbors. It was so beautiful!

Smarty Pants

Drew wrote his name on the shower door last night. NO asking, 'mommy, what letter comes first in my name', or 'mommy, how do I write the letter "D" nope,...just all.on.his.OWN!
ok, so he got ONE little letter in the wrong place...but seriously, how good is this?!?!?!
I was so proud of him, I was squealing in delight!

Riding Bikes

kids in the driveway yesterday

We've been taking the kids outside to ride bikes on the street, although yesterday proved to be a bit colder out there than we had originally though! Now that Drew got a new 'big boy' bike for Christmas, Camden is able to ride the tricycle. Drew is doing so well riding his new bike. He can pedal most the time on his own, although he is still confused by the pedals braking if he pushes them backwards. Camden has ridden the tricycle 2 times now and she seems to have fun with it. She loves holding onto the handle bars and riding next to big bro!

Happy Birthday Will!

Will turned 34 this Wednesday. We celebrated with gifts, cake, family and balloons (I mean what kind of a birthday would it be without balloons?) Drew always has fun opening daddy's gifts and singing and blowing out the candles. We had a nice celebration :)

It's a New Year!

Happy New Year! 2010

Well, a few days into 2010 and I am feeling a bit nostalgic. Thinking about my baby girls' first year of life and how it just flew by! Thinking about just.how.much Drew has grown up this year and it just boggles my mind.
2009 was a great, yet stressful year for our family. We moved into our new house (which still does not have every room furnished) and had a baby 4 weeks later! It was just.plain.crazy. I had a very difficult time adjusting to 2 kiddos (although am starting to get baby fever again!...no, NO, I will not be having another baby...any time soon at least...)
Will had a serious health scare early fall which pretty much rocked our worlds. Two birthdays in Ocotber, 3 days apart, and then the holidays. Let's just say it has been a busy year for the Barresi family!
It was a good year. Filled with laughs, tears and midnight feedings :) Will feels good, and Will also had a great year end at the office. We are thankful for our health, our family, our friends, and most of all, our children.
Here are some favorite memories from 2009:

Camden is ONE!

Rewind to October:

I realize that I never even posted anything about my baby girls' First Birthday! Friday, October 23rd was her birthday. We celebrated that evening with cake and presents with our family and Grandma & Grandpa. Then we had big brothers' birthday party Saturday the 24th at the fire station (I actually did post pictures of that back in Oct !) Then Sunday was Camden's 1st birthday party at our house. We had lots of friends and neighbors come join us for her celebration. We had all been sick the week prior to their birthday weekend, and were all pretty tired come Sunday afternoon for her party! I did a 1st year slideshow as I did for Drew's first birthday party. The kids played and we sang to our baby girl! here are some pictures from her big day!
